Activities and Outdoor Facilities Restrictions
Due to the recent spike in COVID-19 cases in Linn County, Return to Play for Prairie’s off season 7-12 Interscholastic athletics and activities has been delayed. The decision to return will be reevaluated on July 13 with a hope for a possible return on July 20.
Effective July 6, College Community outdoor facilities will open for public use with restrictions. These restrictions and guidelines are in accordance with Linn County Public Health. Please adhere to the following COVID-19 restrictions that are in effect for Summer and Fall 2020 for our outdoor facilities.
Facilities are not open for organized athletic competitions or practices, sanctioned or informal. The intent of this reopening is for recreational personal/family use or small group recreation. Group and organization use is still suspended until further notice.
· No more than 10 people in a gathering
· 6 feet social distancing
· Masks are encouraged
· No unauthorized team practices
· Do not enter if you have a fever, cough and/or shortness of breath
If you have questions or want to report abuse, please contact Prairie High School Activities office at 319-848-5361 to assist us in following up on cases of abuse or not following posted restrictions. Please provide as much detail as possible and report in a timely manner. Failure to adhere to restrictions could result in re-closing facilities and or restricting use for violators in the future.
We appreciate your ongoing support and patience as we work to navigate and respond to changing guidance during this pandemic.
